Famed for its hospitable and lovely inhabitants, dark silky Guinness, live music in the village pubs, countless attractive abbey and castle ruins, stormy cliffs, lush green meadows and much more. Ireland is fantastic, especially when travelling solo. It is easy to strike up a conversation. I enjoyed the generous hospitality of the Irish and many a delightful and insightful conversation.
